The Lensgraf family legacy in the chiropractic profession runs deep, spanning over a century of dedicated health and healing since 1923. Dr. Leif and Dr. Derrick carry this proud tradition forward into the Pacific Northwest as 3rd and 4th-generation chiropractors. Dr. Leif’s father established Lensgraf Chiropractic in Louisiana in 1952, and Dr. Leif joined him in 1993 after following his father’s footsteps and graduating from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa.
Dr. Leif always wanted to make a move to the Pacific Northwest and in 2016 opened the family’s first clinic in the Portland area. Dr. Derrick graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2017 and joined Dr. Leif in Portland. Together, they combine generational clinical excellence with a shared passion for helping the North Plains community thrive.
Far from a “quick fix” clinic, Dr. Leif and Dr. Derrick are widely praised for their exceptionally thorough, patient-centered approach to care. They firmly believe that true, lasting recovery begins with a meticulous clinical assessment. Over twenty years ago, our family brought this deep-rooted passion for healing to the Portland area when Dr. Leif opened our first local clinic. Upon graduating from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Derrick Lensgraf joined the practice to continue our rich tradition.
Today, as a fourth-generation chiropractor, Dr. Derrick leads Peak Chiropractic in North Plains, blending a century of inherited clinical wisdom with advanced specializations like McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) to deliver true functional healthcare.
