For the last 25 years Dr. Leif Lensgraf, D.C., a chiropractic physician, has been treating patients putting smiles back on their faces. Hundreds of patients have given testimonials and praised the warm manner in which they have been treated, and the pain relief they have experienced from their care with Dr. Lensgraf, and those working for him.

Dr. Lensgraf is a 3rd generation chiropractic physician, following his father and grandfather into the chiropractic profession. Dr. Lensgraf’s choice to become a chiropractic physician came about from watching his father bring health to patients and create relationships in the community as a doctor who cared.

He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic, the founding institute of chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, and started practicing in Hammond, Louisiana with his father in 1993.

Dr. Lensgraf continued practicing in Louisiana primarily for 20 years, building a large multidisciplinary clinic. While Dr. Lensgraf has roots and a busy multidisciplinary clinic in Louisiana, he always had a yearning for the Pacific Northwest. He sent his children to Oregon for many years to attend summer camp. Each year with every trip to Oregon, his determination grew to move the family and open a practice in Oregon.

In 2015, Dr. Lensgraf realized that dream and opened a practice in SE Portland. He now has 2 associate doctors on staff at this location and in 2018 he opened a second clinic in Oregon located in North Plains, west of Portland.

Besides his years of study commencing in his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Lensgraf also spent 2 years pursuing studies pertaining to patient rehabilitation through therapy and exercise which he has incorporated in each practice providing patients with relief of pain and a program to improve their lifestyle.

Dr. Lensgraf likes spending his time away from the office practicing photography, woodworking, any new computer gadget, and spending time with his family. He has spent a lifetime fishing and enjoying water sports in the Southeast Louisiana Lakes and the Gulf Coast, and now is excited to explore the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest.

Patients in Dr. Lensgraf’s care always feel like they can talk to him about health and social concerns. He has a true interest in his patients and people in the communities where he lives and works. It is not reciting his years of schooling and doctorate degree in front of patients – it’s connecting with the heart-beating people you are trying to help and communicate understanding back to them that is important.
